Here we go another trans question. Sorry but i have to ask. I would like to know what would be better way to go? would it be better to get a beefed up trans from dtt, ats, etc or to get the parts and do an auto to man swap? I would like an all around truck that can pull good and go when i want it to. If i wanted to sled pull with a trans what one would you guys/gals recommend? I dont tow a lot just a 24' enclose race car trailer once in a while. thanks Richard.

IMHO, it would cost alot more to convert to a manual than beef up the auto. A complete conversion requires a replacement steering column & gauge cluster along with all of the other "stuff" you'll need. BOMB the auto and you'll get full boost shifts too.

Bomb the Auto! Save yourself a lot of time and trouble. I've got about 40,000 miles on my Performance Trans, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Shifts are quick & positive and the TripleLok will NOT slip, I don't care how much H. P. & Torque you are making.
