It will work if you make it refresh the page about once every minute. Since I'm a nice guy... I tried to extend the amount of time it 'sleeps' out to about 6 minutes. I haven't been able to make it work.
I didn't want to whack the web server for updates every 10 seconds... no matter how little the potential traffic could be.
The better solution would be to allow people to remain logged into the site longer than the default timeout. For sites like the TDR, it's not like we're sharing DoD or proprietary information and could easily see somebody allowing the timeout to be a bit longer... . if not indefinite. I'm no web/database expert... but there must be a rhyme to the reason in this case... .
