Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Auto To Standered Convertion Question

I Am Going To Convert My 97 From An Auto To A 5 Speed. What I Want To Do Is Find A Complete Truck To Get All The Parts Off. What Years Did The Nv 4500 Come In. Do I Need To Look For A 94 Thru 98, Or Would A First Gen Truck Have The Parts I Need. Any Advice Would Be Great. Thanks Guys, Tdr Rules!!!!!!
