hey guy's I am looking to put in a second trans oil cooler, I do pull a camper with it, last summer i seen temp as high as 225*to 230*. more when backing up camper & stop and go traffic, at highway speeds temp is around 190-195*. it does get a little hot in the south. what you guys are using, coolers w/fan or not. I will be taking a vacation this summer up around virg, west virg, kentucky, i need to put a cooler in soon, what you guys fine that works best, and where is a good place to put cooler. my trans temp sensor is on the tubing leaving transmission, between the stock cooler, thanks

I put in a H7B back under the passenger side bed with a fan. I run it whenever towing (13k 5er). Pan temps stay at 150*, hot line on flat about +10* (locked up). Backing hotline I never let it go over 225*, and I back into a sand parking space at the storage lot.

H7B because that is what BK @ DTT recommended as I remember so it has no insertion loss, ie full flow.

I used a B&M SuperCooler on my previous V-10/47RE 3500 dually and was quite pleased with it. This cooler could handle the 1/2" transmission cooler lines used on our trucks - most coolers only go up to 5/16" or 3/8".
