I must paint my rusty drive shaft because it's ugly! (and I'm anal)

Question... when I pull the yoke out of the rear of the Auto trans tail will it leak trans fluid?

I did this on my Hemi Road Runner back in 69 and the 727 model J Tork Flite did leak a bit while the shaft was out.

Thank You

William

park with your back tires on a piece of board. The fluid level is right at the back seal. With your tires on a board, the fluid level should drop enough so as not to leak. Hope it helps.

Chris thank you... I figured it would leak a few ounces... I'm going to do the job in the morning... I just did what you had suggested it's ready to pull at first light.

Thanks again,

William
