Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Auto trans heat exchanger still availble?

My heat exchanger below the turbo appears to be leaking coolant. Are these available somewhere for less than $350 to $455, or are they just bypassed these days? Cummins seems to be $350 plus from my googling. Makes me want to bypass it.
