Auto trans warranty?

I just had a new trans and torque converter installed about 3000 miles ago under an after market warranty. I was wanting to get either a shift kit or a DTT vb but was trying to deside weather or not i wanted to mess with my warranty on the new trans. (3 year 36,000 miles).
Give me your opinion on this delima for me

If your bombing and/or going to pull a load or racing modifying of trans only can increase its life if done right.
On the other hand if your not pulling or racing the warranty on trans would be nice if it went out again.
If your bombing/racing you mite have to be your own warranty station. If your pulling GCWR than warranty on trans should fix it. Just depends how many times you want the truck in the shop to get a new trans put in.
I would rather keep it out of shop and be driving it down the road.
