Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I am wanting to make some performace impromants on my truck but i am concerned with the reliability of the auto. My truck is pushing 86k and I do notice that the transmission shifts kinda funny some times. Holding a gear too long or not long enough. Also some minor drifting. I amthinking that if a replace the gov. press sen and possibly the solinoid, I might be ok. Does anyone know if some one builds a Bullet proof transmission. This is really yhe only thing that is keeping me from bombing the hell out of my truck.
OH also do you think that the starnge shifting patterns could be effecting my mileage? Best I can get is 16 and i swear when this thing had 60k onit i was getting 24.
