On a '95 Dodge with the automatic transmission,,Is there a drain plug in the torque converter? If not,,how do you go about changing the fluid to a synthetic without all the waste? Also if the transmission has a temp. sending unit in the pan,,what is normal and abnormal temps pulling a 30 foot 5th wheel camper? Thanks,,,

No drain plug in the stock converter. :(

With the pan and filter off, let it drain overnight. This will get 10 of the 15 quarts.

I would install the temp sender in the line. As (I think) yours already has a switch in the output line, there are a couple ways to achieve this. You could remove the stock switch, replace it with the correct resistance resistor and use that port (not recommended in cold climates) or add one into the line in another location.

This too can be done a couple different ways. You can install a T fitting in the line with compression fittings (I don't recommend but others have done it without problems)

The other way is to replace the line with an updated line and add a T to the cooler end. There is a short section of hose with an anti drainback valve in it. You want to replace this with a T threaded into the cooler and the correct fittings to reinstall a section of hose. Do a search for more details.
