Attention: TDR Forum Junkies A friend has an 01 auto that when driving away from home the first time in the am, will cycle to neutral several times then settle down and be ok the rest of the day.
Can anyone explain why and what is going on?
He is near the end of his warrantee and has concerns!!
We have changed the fluid and it was like brown oil with few deposits in the pan. I doubt if it had been changed before. And he bought it from the dealer who used it to tow.
The problem is a cold (cool ) weather one. Does not do it above 70 or so.
