My 99 Transmission does not like to shift out of 1st gear on light throttle. This happens usually after a 3/4 to full throttle start. I can usually feel something pop back in the pedal like something is hanging up then shifts fine. Could this be the APPS??? Does it have a spring inside hanging up?? Does a cable go down to the transmission to something??

Ok I crawled under the truck and the valve that the cable attatches to feels sticky. It is all rusty on the outside so I hit it with some kroil and see if I can free it up. Right now it will not return on its own by the spring. I am pretty sure this is my problem.

Yep, thats the TV cable and is hooked to the APPS. Typical problem, they periodically need to be removed and replaced or lubed if you can.

Well I have dropped the pan and adjusted bands. Eating lunch now then getting back to work. I have to put the new filter on and fill up. Also I am going to try to get some lube in the cable housing.
