Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Auto transmission question

Will the transmission from a 94 bolt up to a 99?

the trans will phisically fit, but the electronics are way different, the 94 was hydraulically shifted with electronic 4th and t/c, the 99 is full electronic shift and has a different electrical connector. it will shift 1st thru 3rd but 4th and t/c will need switches and the check engine light will be on.
