Auto transmission Trouble

Any bets that if this type of occurance and the many others that show up on these forums continue, in 10 years the Japanese auto makers are going to start making heavy duty trucks and outsell the big 3?

If the Toyota Tundra is any indication, we have nothing to worry about.

As long as the big 3 learned their lesson back in the 70s and early 80s, I think they will be able to maintain their hold on the American truck market. I'm not confident they did learn though.

Bought My 3500 at Thanksgiving. It was in the shop the next day for the converter drain back valve. The truck is currently in the shop for the fourth time and still no new transmission. Can anyone spell lemon law. Any pointers would be great.

nickleinonen is right... . the engines arent Cummins and they are locomotive engines, but not GEs. They are 16-cyl Alcos(probably 251s) and 8 cyl White-Superiors.
