My accessory belt after about 29,000 miles is staring to chirp,and I notice the index stop has now move almost up to the tang. It used to be way down at the bottom. At idle the belt is vibrating,and when you throttle-up the belt stops vibrating and smooths out, but the index stop does not move back down. Should I replace the tensioner and belt or is the belt worn down to a point to wear the tensioner cannot make up the tension. No cracks just some light tread showing in some area's. Thought's?
