I am getting ready to have a BD exhaust brake fitted to my Y2K D2500.
Question is which of the above lockup clutch controllers to go with.
Autoloc works when the exhaust brake is turned on, no extra switch.
Torqueloc has its own switch, can be in any of three positions,
a( stock
b) holds the lockup clutch engaged when the exhaust brake can be used
C) forces lockup.
Autoloc would appear to be the easier application to operate, because with torqueloc in position c, could get into a situation where a transmission gear shift happened and the lockup clutch stay engaged.
Advice/suggestions would be appreciated, thanks. I'm not into racing, just want to tow my 5th wheel safely over the hills without being on the service brakes too much.
Thanks in advance.
