Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Automatic Trans. ID

Externally, without taking the trans. apart, is there any way to identify the unit as one coming from a CTD powered Ram? Has TC lockup and the PCM plug in connector on the case. Any Identification codes or stamping numbers I could look for? Unit is a 4X4 trans. . The torque converter is inked stamped 516. The TC might not be from the same trans.

I have a 2002 which has a plug going to the PCM. We also have a liberty 2005 CRD
I think the stall speed on Torque converter is different on stock CTD compared to Gas.
