Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 1998 first edition diesel 1 ton dual wheel 200,000 k.
As it would appear as if trans is low on on oil going around corners, ( which it is not!) trans goes into neutral( no drive) or at a stop sign, goes into neutral. Changed oil and filter, ( right or wrong, oil looked fine) no change in operation. Both sequences are sporadic, does it hot or cold. As I said earlier, appears as though low on oil or valve body is loose(????) This condition is apparent in both fwd and rev. Shifting into neutral and back into forward or reverse, appears to correct condition. Transmission seems OK while at speed.
