Automatic Trans work in L.A area?

My automatic is having problems and I want to know who the hot transmission person is in the Los Angeles area.
Was going to drop it off at the dealer until I found out it's out of warranty. Due to new home construction I would like to get more mileage out of it, but if I have to I would like to get the trans set up correctly.
Any input on the topic is greatly appreciated.

Wow, Acton. There is a place I haven't thought of in years. I used to race bikes there in the late 50's - early 60's. The town had a general store and a motorcycle track and a few houses.
