Automatic Transmission Control

I'm nearly ready to buy my DTT TC, VB, exhaust brake and Power Edge EZ. One question, when on a steep downgrade when towing and the exhaust brake on, how do you keep the transmission locked up? Or is it not required?



I notice that Banks is selling a system which provides more control of the transmission and works with the Banks exhaust brake. Does anyone have this installed? How do you like it?

Bill K. at DTT has a Smart Controller that does the same thing. Just ask for it also when you get your other parts from DTT. That setup should be the cream of the crop for what you want.

The Smart Controller is designed to allow lockup in 2nd gear with Bill's VB.
What it does it allow lockup in 2,3, and OD, and when slowing down, it'll go straight from OD(locked) to 3rd locked(adjustable speed to activate), and when you shift to 2nd manually, there is a switch on your linkage that keeps it locked.

Very nice unit, and great for towing setups.
