Competition Automatics at Stockton Pull

Hmmmmm... ..... ????

The automatics had a bad showing, once again, with a Mitchellized, Piersified Standard transmisson truck just toasting them.

The question is, can they learn from this, and can they correct the problems before Thunder in Muncie?



Could this be the first year, the autos are shut out of the top ten???



Tick, tock, tick, tock... ... ... June is coming!!!!Oo.

the auto's aren't the prob----my6eatsv8's couldn't get his turbos to light--he waited to long to get into and I started hopping at 100' shut it down and opened it back up and went another 40-60' after I hammered it again, but shut it down for good when the hopping wouldn't stop---chris

Although it is nice to see the 5spd trucks Win I don't think we have seen the last of some of the auto guys yet. Adam has only had his truck running for a few days after his 1 year highatis and if hip hop ever get his truck to settle down we might have some Competition.

My auto was 10' behind with 1 turbo and i didnt get it lit.

yep good job brandon,

all I can say is the autos are coming, and if I can't get the flexplates to live, my truck was a 5sp so maybe I'll have to go back lol:-{}

Bill said just keep it up, you are gonna exactly whats comming to you.



Last year we did not have the billet output shafts, the safest we could build up to was 225 hp without spitting out the output shaft, this year the billet one is rated for 1000 hp.



He said keep it up, the only reason he is driving my poor truck that far this year is to kick your butt personally. ( lol) .



Heads up Gene, we all know Bill is nuts , i will give you a little hint, do a little homework, what happened to the standard transmisison in the drag racing industry when the automatics got the transbrake.
