Autometer C2 EGT gauges

I am thinking of purchasing this gauge to replace the Isspro EV EGT gauge I have now. My question is, does this gauge have the amplifier box like the Isspro or is it straight wired to the probe?

I do not want to deal with the amps again if I can help it.

I have Cobolt guages and if I'm not mistaking, C2 is a different line of Cobolt. My EGT is wired directly from probe to guage. Very clean install. -----RJ

Oh by the way, You can go to the AutoMeter web site and see how the guages illuminate. The C2 may not match the nite tint of other Issopro guages. Just another consideration---------RJ

I checked the guages on their site and the tint doesn't match exactly but I can live with it. I just didn't want to fool with another amp in the install.
