I changed lift pump three weeks ago. had trouble on initial start-up. finally had to have it tow to cummins. When I got the truck back fuel pressure reading "nothing " not low. Friend said that the sending unit was probably bad. Any way to confirm. Part in my opinion is expensive. Cummins said that they had to "power bleed the injection pump"? thanks

That's the set-up I have. I assume that it is reading pegged at "0". When those units fail, they usually will peg "High". I would guess that they didn't thread the schrader valve on enough to open it, OR threaded it on do tight they blew out the teflon and the schrader valve is closed or obstructed. By the way, when you bleed the line, bleed it some more. Air bubbles will play havoc with it.
