Autometer Guages

I was wondering if anyone has an A-Pillar Dual Guage Mount with Autometer Z-Series Guages? The A-Pillar Mounts on Genos is for a 2" guage only, and the smallest Autometer makes is 2 1/16" Guage. I don't like the looks of the Issopro, Di-Pricol, or Westach, so they are out.



If you are using Autometer, what did you mount them in?

Does anyone know if Autometer makes a 60 PSI Boost guage with Vacuum also?



Is the Competition series Probe worth spending the extra money?



Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Sometimes 2" and 2 1/16" are used interchangeably. The 2 1/16" gauges will fit in the pillar mount from Geno's even though it says 2". Most gauges are either 2 1/16" (i. e. Di-Pricol, Isspro, Westach, Autometer) but Autometer also has 2 5/8" which are noticeably larger.



I have the Autometer 2" from Diesel Dynamics in the steering column mount.



I don't think Autometer makes a 60 psi boost gauge with vacuum (which you don't need)



I don't have an opinion on the probe.

I sell a lot of gauges for race cars mostly, and Autometers part numbers for Z Series are listed as 2 1/16, but are now being labeled 2". They use the 2 1/16" hole though. They will work in the pod you are talking about

I will be ordering the guages today or tomorrow. I am going to go with the 60 PSI Z-Series Boost, and the Z-Series Street EGT guage, both mounted in the Dual A-Pillar Mount from Genos.

I just used a piece of plumbers cloth to enlarge the 2" holes a bit to mount the gauges.

I have the Diesel Dynamics pyro, boost, and fuel pressure gauges (made by Autometer), in their 3-pod A-pillar replacement.

On a 2003/04 you can do a two gauge mount on the steering column, and a single mount on the A pillar. The Auto Meter co will not make an A pillar mount that requires the reomval of the grab handle due to some NTHSA liability issues, posted this before and don't want to stir the stick just posting info. The folks that have done the 2 on the column and 1 on the A pillar have been real happy with it. Some folks also take a 24 valve dash top and modify it to fit the contours of the 3002 dash and use it.



My friendship with the manufacturer of mounts for Auto Meter tells me there will be a 3 gauge in dash mount very soon as well.
