When I bought my truck it had a Autometer egt and boost gauge set in it. The boost gauge has always been about 7-8 psi off. Not a big deal I rarely ever look at it. But know my EGT gauge is sticking most of the time I have to tap on it to get it to read correctly. Is there anything I can do? Other that buy a new one. I have used Autometer gauges before and had no problems.

Mine did the same thing... . I pulled the pillar and retightened all the connectors and no more problems..... I have had mine for awhile and I like them... Wes

No problems with mine... except my original 35# boost gauge couldn't read high enough for the SPS 62 I put on last week. Just put a Phantom II 60# gauge in and will be leaving for L. A. in a few minutes, see how todays trip goes.

I have had Autometer Ultra-Lites EGT(0-1600), Boost (0-60), Trans Temp for two and a half years now with no problems. I have had Autometer Ultra-Lite Electric Fuel Pressure gauge for over a year without any problems.

send them back, they are very good with warrenty work. i have had to send 1 gauge back several times and replaced all times free.

My Autometer EGT reads high or my Attitude reads low. So a couple weeks ago I bought a new Autometer Sport Comp EGT gauge to replace the old one. New one reads the same. The "old" gauge is over 3 years old and has been in two trucks. I don't trust the attitude EGT anymore.

sounds like the face has de-laminated and moved down and is resting on the shaft making the needle stick. I had my pyro (auto meter pro comp) do this on my 98 truck. I bought it from summit racing and no problem with warrantee on it. I did get 3 total bad gauges all the same result, they sent one from a different batch or lot and problem solved. Summit paid shipping both ways on all gauges.
