I just ordered the Autometer Single Guage Steering Mount and I hope I'll be happy with it. Has anyone else installed it? Is there anything I should know before I get into the install of the Westech fuel pressure guage in that spot?

Doc

I've also considered geting one to put a fuel preasure gauge in, but was waiting to hear if it will block your vision to the speedo & other items.

will it fit?

Doc,

I thought I read in the Geno's catalog the westech gauge will NOT fit in the steering mount.

Could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time)

Tom

Edit: forgot to say I want to order one myself. Are they available now?

It doesn't fit well (the Westach), but it can be convinced. . Took a bit of filing on the bottom edge of mine, and it fits "good enough".

i checked out the tool man's.....

about all that it blocks is some of the idiot lights... ... i cant wait to get one and put in a fuel pressure gauge.

Auotmeter col. mt.

I have on in my 01, fits nice,I have the autometer z-series FP

gauge although the bottom edge of the gauge rubs the wheel

you should remove the whole plastic asm. around the col. to

fish the wires easier(mt. the mt. to the top piece and drill hole

in top piece behind back of gauge and fish wires) much cleaner than just running wires out back of mt. also use the pins not the tape (the tape makes it stick up) also you will need a t-20 torx

head screwdriver to remove col. cover. Painted mine to match also. as for the westtech gauge can't help there,(geno's say's if won't fit so... ... happy installing
