They are ready to be ordered! First off we need to thank the vendor who covered the screening cost for us! Ted Jannetty of Jannetty Racing! He has placed an order for 20 "regular" Ultra Lites for the initial order. So the screening cost no longer exhists! We merely pay for the gauge! Price is "roughly" $60 (due to rules ain't posting exact price), goto AutoMeter Website and check the retail price on a #4304 gauge (This is the regular 0 to 35 psi gauge, just using it for a price reference). I spoke with Autometer before and after Ted did so there are no "hidden costs" here, I know how much the gauges costs, etc... . So call Ted and order yours today!

JRE Website (203)753-RACE

This gauge will NOT be in any catalogs, the only way to get it is to know it exhists. If in the future you need the part number email me for it.

*IMPORTANT* NOTE FOR SPECIAL REQUESTS : Call Ted with your order and tell him specifically what you want. Whether its on a carbon dial, orange needle or a black dial, or a black bezel... he will have to order these manually one at a time with Autometer, but I was assured by Autometer it is the same price and its all doable. Also these may take slightly longer to get as Autometer will have to make it when its ordered. If for some reason they won't let Ted do it, email me and I will give you contact information for Autometer and you can get it directly from them!

Here is the other thread on this subject : Other Related Thread

Thanks Ted! ... . Come to find out he wanted one too

Once you place your order PLEASE post here so that I can make sure I take care of everyone that has contacted me on this. If you can't post email me then. Thank you for your patience! Also please state if you got a "regular" or a custom gauge... please list what you got and pictures would be nice when you recieve the gauge!

Just pulling to the top for anyone who might have missed it. I only know of six people who ordered (5 posted here and 1 that can't post yet) so just wondering about the other people that were interested... ordered yet? Did I miss anyone with my emails????

Please speak up.

Eric, Just wanted to check with you. I didn't get an e-mail from you. Jannetty Racing has the gauges? When you call do you just ask for the 0 - 50 psi Ultra Lite boost gauge? The price is the same as the 0 - 35 psi Ultra Lite boost gauge? You must be a very persuasive dude. Nice job Kat. I appreciate your efforts on behalf of your fellow TDR members. Thanks too to Ted Jannetty for putting up the dough for the screening cost. Best regards to you guys, -Glen Pratt

I am sorry if I missed you, either I accidently left ya off or my email is acting up again. I apologize.

Anyhow yes you can order them from Ted as this post states. Just call tell him you want the 0 to 50 psi special order gauge arranged by me. The price is higher then the 0 to 35psi because its a custom job... and they are charging us "retail" for it, Ted is charging us what Autometer is charging him (I know this for a fact).

He ordered 20 of them (regular Ultra Lite style) to be made on last Thursday so he should have them by the end of this week or the beginning of next week hopefully.

Anymore questions. . email me or ask here.

I just ordered mine. Carbon-fiber face, silver bezel, and orange pointers. Don't know how long these will take to come in, but will be waiting patiently. They should look pretty killer with my carbon-fiber dash kit. Thanks for all your hard work.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON SPECIAL REQUESTS

I have some bad news that I was just made aware of today (7/25)!! Ted and myself have just been informed that on any special request there is going to be a $25. 00 service charge! This is from AutoMeter NOT Ted. We were both led to believe all along that it would be the same cost across the board. I thought I had literally asked AutoMeter every question possible so that nuthing like this would happen... ... I guess I failed. Ted found this out when he went to place the special orders today. This is the first he had heard of it and its the first I have heard of it. Ted will be calling those with special requests to verify what you would like to do.

$25. 00 Service Charge + Cost of Gauge for special requests (carbon fiber dial, orange dial, black bezel, black dial, etc. )

If Ted doesn't get a hold of you please call him to advise what you would like to do regarding your order.

I APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVIENCE

I got the call this morning, good thing too!
I had originally ordered B,B&O,but changed my mind since good ole Kat told me that the black one might not match the comp series. I left a message 30min. after i placed the order to change to the UL series and even sent an E-mail to Ted. I know that they're very busy people and forgot to change my order. But all things are good now. Can't wait to get my guage! Thanks again Kat and Ted!

Just want to add a comment about the AutoMeter company; I got Evan's "old" set and the temp always read 200 high, sent for testing and they replaced the gauge and probe. The probe is the 5244(?)(procomp) if I recall the # and it is a "faster" acting unit. They also let me buy an extra probe so I can go before and after. Only cost to me was the extra probe. What a Company, warrantied the gauge and probe even tho I got them 2nd hand (evan sending a mount kit for the boost). Be good to our "suppliers" that treat us so good!

SOTSU!!

I know Ted can get you the 0 to 50 psi boost and more then likely he can get you wahtever you want. Just call him and talk to him about it. He is gonna charge you exactly what Autometer is charging him on the boost gauge so when the price seems "high" thats why. You might think about looking at my other thread in the above post and get all your other gauges and probe from carparts.com make sure you use the discount code for 1/3rd off your order (upto 100 bucks coupon value). Just look around a bit to make sure ya get a good price. But the 50 psi boost gauge your best bet is to get it from Ted. Anymore questions email me or post here.

Kat,you heard any news on the ETA of our guage? My EGT gauge, thermocouple and pillar pod have already arrived.

Chomping at the bits!

See this thread : Status of Gauges

Apparently they had a slight problem and had to redo somthing regarding the calibration of the gauges in regards to the font on the dial.
