AutoTrans Tune-Up, What's a Turn

I want to do Automatic Transmission maintenance on my 97 Ram, change fluids, filter, and the front and rear band adjustment. However, my Haynes repair manual says the front band adjustment is "72 in-lbs, back off 2-7/8 turns" and the rear band is "72 in-lbs, back off 2 turns". My question is "WHAT'S A TURN"? Is it a full revolution, or what?



Anyone who has done this befor and knows the answer please reply!

The problem comes in when they are too tight!They can also break if over tight
