Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) aux fuel tank VENT size minimum ?

I'm redoing my fuel delivery system, would like to use the aux tank to gravity feed to my new frame mounted pump (relocated) with a big line kit. I plan on using my existing vent line instead, for the fuel return line. What is the minimum size VENT HOLE for a 45 gallon tank?

I think it goes something like:



45 gph will go through the VP44 and 70% is returned to the tank, so return is 31. 5 gph returned. I use a 1/4" plastic line to vent mine. You are only venting for the loss of 13. 5 gph.
