Aux. Fuel Tank ????

I just purchased a used aux. fuel tank that has all the hoses coming out of the top of the tank, can anyone tell me what kind of pump to use with it. I tried a universal fuel pump that states it has 4-7psi however it will not draw the fuel out of the tank. HELP PLEASE

Come on guys I know I'm not the only one out here that has a top fed tank. Help me out here please.

I have a 35 gallon in the bed and use a Mr. Gasket Micron Electronic Fuel Pump to transfer fuel to main tank. Been using one for 4 years not the fastest but works for me. About $40 at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Be sure toi get the one for the 8 cylinder engine.

Did the tank come with a fuel level sending unit?

I'm using a Holley red pump to draw from my aux to the main tank, are you sure this tank does not have a in tank pump that may be causing you problems?

Yes it did.

I pulled the sending unit and I did not find a pump in the tank.
