Does any one know off hand which line coming out of the transmission is the hot line out? (68RFE) Should I be hooking in the aux cooler into the return line? or the hot out line? I was thinking the return line for the reason of it would have the best final cooling effect with a cooler input temp and drop it the most. But if it is on the hot out line, the 180 degree temp sensor for the fan would come on sooner. I will be putting in an override switch anyway so I can turn the fan on if I want before the temps even get to the 180 degree mark if I want or know I'm going to be doing some driving that will provoke high temps.

What do you think?

Which line is which?

If the new cooler has a thermostat controlled fan, I would put in series after the factory cooler. Let it take the majority of the heat load, and let the aftermarket cooler handle the rest.
If the new cooler was first, the factory cooler might actually heat up the fluid.

On the 6. 7 with the 6sp auto, the transmission does not go to the radiator. The bottom line of the cooler is the hot line, the upper on the transmission is the hot line.
