2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Aux Vaccum Canister?

Just got my Vac cannister from Jegs. Should I just tee into the vac line going from pump to brake booster or run from pump to cannister then out to booster? Also, they've inclubed a check valve. Should I place both factory and included valve in the run our just keep the factory at the booster?
