Auxillary Back-up/Load Lights

I am in the process of determining the wiring possibilities for some auxillary back-up/load lights. The lights that I think I am going with are some square halogens that I found in the Northern Catalog. But I have a few questions.

Where did you mount the lights?
I am thinking about mounting them on either side of the trailer hitch brackets. I had them mounted under the bumper on the last truck but I think i want a little change.

Where did you mount the switch?
I had it on the knee bolster in my '98 but I always seemed to leave the lights on because I didn't see the indicator light.

How did you wire them?
I would like to have the ability to have three positions on the switch if it is possible. On with the running lights on only, off, and on when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Is this a hard set-up to wire.

Any info, pictures or advice would be appreciated.

After all I want the best for my CTD!!

STG2500 I had posted these pics of my setup using EDIT:Piaa 1500 XT's And used the Parking lamp as the trigger and have a manual switch to flick 'em on at will (nice to have light when hooking up the trailer in the dark SAFELY)(I also wired a Radio shach Dinger so I know when they are on) I had Em mounted on the rear spring Perches in this pic but have moved em twards the rear more to throw more blinding , Tanning, paint fading light

I mounted a set of Hella's on my 01'. I mounted them under the bumper on either side of the hitch. Then mounted a relay at the battery and ran 10 gauge wire from the relay to the lights (Therby eliminating any danger of shorts and fires). I have a mini toggle switch next to my turn signal arm and a bright red light to let me know there on so i dont accidently blind people.
Of course, they do come in handy when you have a moron brighting you from behind.

This was my solution. It's virtually plug 'n play and puts out good light with 2-55W lamps. Has a switch on the back for turning on for loading.
