I would like to increase my fuel capacity since I only get 13. 5 MPG but all I can find is the 60gal replacement tanks.

Apparently they hang down 6" lower than the stock tank and I'm nopt sure I want that. Is there an Aux tank for these?

Thanks

I had a 115 gal. alum. diamondplate, in bed, auxillary tank installed by Dually Depot in Elkhart, IN. They sell a lot of tanks to the guys that haul trailers across the country, commercially. Total capacity, on board, is approx. 150 gals. , now. You can go a LONG way before needing a fill-up.

The set-up is kind of neat. There is a six-way valve (elec. ) & the trucks factory gas guage tells the level of both tanks by using a rocker switch neatly placed in the dash.

I'll probably get flamed for this but I would stay away from mettle tanks. Diesel seems to be hard on them and they tend to rust and cause all kinds of hideous problems.

You'll notice very few big rigs have steele tanks and it's not just because aluminum is prettier.

I am on my 2nd Aerotank (metal, not polywhatever) with 60 gal. capacity. They are lower than the stock tank, but well above the suspension. They did a professional installation on both tanks. I'm very satisfied. Don
