Heard somewhere along the way that the 03, HO 2500 6 speed has a pusher type fuel pump in the fuel tank. If that is the case I "Goofed" in hooking up my in the bed fuel tank by using the same plumbing as on my 98 Dodge w/cummins, using the provided 6 port selective switching valve. So how would I fix her right now in order to get the benefit of "lift" from the fuel pump instead of only gravity feed when switched to "AUX"?

An electric fuel pump is not used in the fuel tank

module for diesel powered engines. Fuel is supplied

by the engine mounted fuel transfer (lift) pump.

The fuel tank module is installed in the top of the

fuel tank (Fig. 23). The fuel tank module contains

the following components:

² Fuel reservoir

² A separate in-tank fuel filter

² Fuel gauge sending unit (fuel level sensor)

² Fuel supply line connection

² Fuel return line connection

² Auxiliary non-pressurized fitting
