AV flash done today

I, know as Flash, at my local dealership noticed the reports of few owners having oil creep up on their dipstick lately. I checked mine yesterday and was up a 1/2" on stick. Took by dealer and they performed AV flash and drained about 1/2 ro 3/4 qt. out. Checked location on stick and mgr. asked me to drive for several days and check.

Did they offer any reason for increase in oil. That's a good amount to increase. BTW I sent off my oil sample today. Nervous as a ***** in church.

I just had my oil changed within the last 500 miles. It is a possibility that the guy that changed it put just a tough too much in. We are going to watch it closely for the next couple days.

Pull a sample and send it to Blackstone labs etc. for checkout.

Any Idea what the AV flash does?

I had it done today along with a trans controller update for the 2-3 upshift

there was very little information on what the AV flash actually does

Reduces soot formation and better control of regen.
