Available Grille Combos

How do you order this grille combo? This is Big Mak's rig with body-colored grille on the sides and chrome in the middle. I went to an online order page and did not see any differentiation in the options listings. Does this grille indicate the Laramie model?

I have also noticed on the Sport models on the lot here in Kennewick the grille has what looks like Steel Horse or Stull horizontal bars inserts, but appears to be factory-installed versus dealer installed. Looks very good (wish I had a picture). Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yes, that's the Laramie grill - body colored surround and chrome cross bars.



There's a photo of a silver 1500 Ram with the other grill you're talking about in the 2003 Dodge Truck Brochure.

The combos I've seen:



Flat grey - ST

All chrome - SLT

Body color outside, chrome "crosshairs" - SLT+ / Laramie

All body color, with chromed steel billet looking grill - Sport

David is correct. I have the Laramie and also added the chrome sport insert. The body is bright silver and the combo looks OK. At least I thought it was good till I saw another post saying that silver paint wasn't good. But what do I know?

Oh yeah, that's true, you can order the sport's billet-looking grille inserts from the Mopar catalog for use on any truck.
