Ok guys had a Carli level system installed in my 2018 ram 3500 about a month ago give or take and noticed that the shop that installed it did not properly adjust my trac bar because my tire on passenger side stuck out farther then tire on driver side. Called shop and let them know told them i would bring it back when i got back in town, no problem. The truck since system was installed just never felt right through the steering not like all the reviews i had heard so i figured something else maybe wrong. Truck had 720 miles when i got installed, now has a tick over 1,000. Fast forward to today went and got the camper because was going out of town with it this weekend. Noticed a clicking sound when turning my wheel thought it was camper listened again when wheel was straight and didnt hear it anymore. Got home unhooked camper turned to go into driveway and heard click sound again. I then moved steering wheel back and forth to try an duplicate noise and then heard a loud pop, tried to steer and could tell tires werent responding, looked under truck and seen my Carli track bar had come apart from thread at jam nut. This could have been really bad had it happened while on road. Going to call shop tomorrow that did the install, not sure how to go about this. Almost feel like just installing it myself since it seems they didnt do to well the first time. The bar is ruined, threads are stripped out so i definitely need to get a new track bar. Man kind of wished i would have just left everything alone.

I think that shop would be buying and replacing a new carly bar and paying for a rollback to haul it.

That was my plan when calling them tomorrow, but now i just dont trust them working on my truck. The guy that did the work, did not even center my steering wheel even though they charged me for an alignment and then proceeded to put 22 miles on my truck while it was there.

Any shop that would let your drive away like that is NOT worth letting work on your truck.
Don't know how you are going to get them to recompense you, but I agree with your assessment that you should not take it back to them. Rather try to find recommendations for a competent shop near you!! If you call Carli, they MIGHT have a suggestion for you that is not the same shop. Just an idea.

I agree with the sentiment about not wanting to let shop do the work, but I am not sure you would get anywhere without giving them the chance to remedy situation first. Hopefully you have documented with lots of pictures. See what they have to say first, then go from there. Even the smaller shops around here would bend over backwards to make things right before taking a chance of having a bad review posted about them. Dealerships......they seem to be a different story around here.
