Everyday I drive my truck I can't believe what a beast it is.

TST #12 will soon be gone and a # 11 going in I got the BOMB bug. It was funny just the other day my wife said something about me getting a new truck I laughed and said," Are you kidding I just got this truck setup the way I want it with the flip up mirrors the TST plate the Prodigy brake control EGT and Boost gauges". I don't think I'll ever get tired of my truck it has the right number of valves and the P7100 is awesome.

Ditto on the beast. With the latest mods, 3k springs and gov lever adj. , my '96 3500 is an awsome rig. Took a chevy and ford lover for a run and had both looking at each other while going through the gears and leaving a smoke screen thick enough to fumigate for mosquitos for a week. Only problem, the egt's are off scale under load. Will be de-tuning a bit this weekend to get them in check. Don't need all that power for a everyday driver that pulls momma's wigwam for fun. I don't do a fast getaway but will take them on from 40mph to as far as they want to go.

How difficult was it to install the '00 mirrors? My '98 has the power/heated mirrors and I want to upgrade to the flip-up tow mirrors.

The "stealer" quoted me a price of $250-$270 for the mirrors, what did you have to pay?

I paid 250 it was very easy I got the manual ones I think they have power ones now. Your door panels might be a little bit harder with the power accessories I have manual locks and cranks I like it that way. But they are well worth it to finally have a good towing mirror we have a 32 ft fifth wheel camper and I can see the back corners on both sides with these mirrors.

On account of not getting rid of your truck, one of my friends said "Why buy a new dodge when you can put $30,000 into your old one!!" How true!! I may buy another truck but NEVER sell my baby!
