Beginning last October 2020, I was contacted by a friend to transport his 2013 RAM 3500 Crew Cab DRW Laramie from Charleston, SC to Elkhart, IN. The RAM 3500 was getting a totally new paint job in Charleston, which wound up being completed around January 27th or so this year. The bed was removed....and a stellar, better-than-factory paint job was applied. I picked up the truck on January 28th and delivered to Utility Body Werks in Elkhart on January 29th.

The new, custom built bed was completed, installed, and finally available for return to the customer on March 26th. In the interest of meeting (and exceeding) my wonderful customer’s timeframe constraints—-I left out from home in KY around 3:00 pm Sunday evening for a Monday morning pickup. Day one netted me down to Cartersville, GA and I ended up reuniting the RAM 3500 to my friend Tuesday evening, March 30th. Since I’m a sucker for food (and had not had a good supper all day) I was offered FREE supper as a reward for my efforts in meeting and exceeding his timeframe constraints.
Since we all like pictures......here’s a few.
