My take on them is that they are intended for smoothing unladen ride quality versus dealing with axle wrap issues. Don't think they would help wrap issues IMO.

I went the route of new rear springs.

They have alot more leaves which allows the spings to be much more progressive.

I had the springs made to eliminate the 6" rear blocks.

I get a very small amout of shudder in sand.

On pavement it just roasts the tires. (35x12. 50-17's)

Mine are fron National Spring in San Diego Ca.

If and when I do it again I will get them from Deaver Spring Santa Ana Ca.

I agree with SF Bob. I went with 6" over progressive leafs and tossed the blocks. Mine were made at Alcan Spring in Grand Junction, CO at a VERY good price. No overloads and still rated to 3/4 ton. Try getting that from a lift kit company.

ps- I don't see how the Velvet Rides would do anything for axlewrap.

they will not nps is right. heavyer springs would stiffen but to do it correctly you will need to tie in a bar from below the axel (u-bolt plate) to the frame in line with the fulcrum of the drive shaft universal joint (mid truck). this device will need to poviot at both ends the best way is with hime joints. also it will need to allow full rang of suspention including full articulation with out binding or contacting any other thing. sounds complicated but its not look on some slead pulling trucks or trucks with extream lift. some have tryed to fab this from a three point hitch adjustable link many have failed and it will. don't try it. look at some. see what works. try asking 4x4 fourem guys. good luck.
