Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Axle nut on front spindle... how much torque? FT LBS?

New bearing and brake job... now sure how tight to install the big front axle nuts. One side came off with 150 ft/lbs. , one side maxed out our 250 ft/lb. wrench!



FWIW - The side that was installed at 250lbs. + was the bearing that went out. We're thinking that might have something to do with bearing going bad, but not postive. Thanks guys. Jeff in Ohio
