Hi, I'm doing my rear brakes . What is the proper procedure for torqueing the bearing nut ?. . I have the stock nylon lock nut W/wedge... . Thanks... ... ... Chuck
Hey buddy, my book is down in the shop, if no one jumps in I will look this up for you. I changed mine over to the spicer lock system with two nuts because I didn't like guessing at the bearing preload with the dodge system. If you want the numbers, let me know. Works for me! Tim
On a related note, anyone know what size the nut is? I need to check my rear brakes and would hate to pull it down only to find I don't have the right socket. :{
Mark and Chuck - Thanks for the info. Looks like another tool to add to the collection. Between the Jeep and the truck I think I'm gonna have to buy a bigger tool box.
