Axle seal tool

Anybody have this tool Is it Necessary ?

I'd have loved one when I changed mine.
But necessary, No, a helper with a broomstick and a hammer was my solution.
On the inside i had a big socket, the same size as the seal flange and I guided it while my buddy lightly tapped it in from the outside.
So, yeah, it's doable.

Don't forget to put a thin coat of RTV on the outside of the seal ring, or your changes are good to do it again soon.

I’ll have to check that option? Closest store I have that rents tools is 90 miles away but it would still be cheaper
