Just finished my B-1 install and the truck just doesn't seem to like it. I know that sounds stupid, but it runs real funny
I finished the install and headed home from work. Took it real easy as I made my way through town towards the freeway. I was just listening for anything unusual. Everything seemed okay until I started to merge onto the freeway, then it feel like the the engine was cutting in and out, kind of studdering. I was on 1X1 so I bumped it up to 2X3 just to check, still the same. It was so noticable that I pulled over to check things out. I had also installed my turbo temp monitor at this time but couldn't see how this would matter either. I made a quick visual and it all looked good, not to much to check since I didn't touch that much. I headed back out and still a spookey hesitation/studder/bucking almost. :{ I leaned into her a little and the problem cleared up at higher boost and rpm. I did a little 5X5 and she seemed happier, but still doesn't sound right. Did I miss something? I mean this is not a complicated job. The only thing I can come up with is the exhaust, which was a real pain in the butt, could be rubbing/hitting the body somewhere and causing some weird sounds, but the engine doesn't feel right. Maybe not enought fuel? It seems that I should be okay, just thought I would ask. One more thing. At idle in gear, the resonation is really loud now, is this a normal result of the B-1? Sorry so long, but there is no one out here to ask. Thanks.
