My bother-in-law has a 91. 5 1st gen. truck and I bought his 01' 2nd gen 2 years ago. Since then I've added a B-1 turbo and other upgrades but want to upgrade further to twins. My question is... . will my turbo fit his truck. He has a 4 inch exhaust already and plans to upgrade to 60hp injectors and have his pump tweaked. His trans has already been upgraded with BD parts and TC. The 4" exhaust is a turbo back and by reading many posts on this forum,I've learned that to be rare so clearances are certainly an issue. Hope I gave you guys enough info. The turbo in question is a B-1 and I have never been able to get over 35# out of it on my truck... . I only have 100hp injectors and mild mods for extra towing performance. it seems to be rare that CTD owners use the B-1 but the mechanic I used in PA swore by them. It is a great turbo and I have no problem with it... . just want more power and be able to keep egt's on mine cool pulling my trailer up grades. Thanx in advance!!

My understanding is that the B-1 is an s300 just like the turbos made by HTT. HTT has done some changes and there are many different trims. I have a B-1 64mm/14 that i purchased for my truck, but had enough air with the superB (57/12) so i never put it on. *** Its available. ***

The 1st gens have less drive pressure than 12v 2nd gens which have less drive pressure than 24v, which have less drive pressure than 3rd gen 24v. Translation a bigger turbo will spool up better on a later model truck if HP was the same

Jkidd what are you looking to get for that b-1? i'm debating on getting a new means of boost, thanks, also not sure if you know but if used in a twin setup would you want it to be a primary turbo or the secondary? thanks
