Who doesn't use w/d hitch or sawy control?

I finished installing my B&W hitch on my 06 Dodge duelly. It took about five hours by myself. Every piece fit perfect, some were tight like the frame U-bolts in the front of the side plates.

Took a lot of wiggling and cursing, but got it in. Getting a torque wrench on some of the bolts is almost impossible Over all a perfect install. Would I do it again ? No, I'd pay a hitch service to do it. At 60 I'm too old to spend five hours on my back on the concrete! I sure wish I could use my right arm again. But I do love the way it went in. Just follow the instructions and measure like they say, to cut the 4 in. hole in the bed.

iv'e installed two of them now and would suggest them to anyone. but i'm capable of 2 hrs or less after knowing how the first one went in.

Yeah I know, those installers at the hitch shops earn their money. It's not hard, it's just working over your head with so much weight for so long. My shoulder is getting better now. Some day I'll be able to comb my hair again !

Definately B&W. I have a putnam and after the ball turned (in the round socket unlike B&W's square hole) pushed the locking pin out and fell, all with a trailer attached. I only drove 40 miles home with the trailer riding on the bed floor until I tried to unhook it and saw what had happened. Needless to say I'm less than impressed. Sure did install easy though, wanna buy a slightly used putnam?:-laf
