So I can't even play with it much. From the short drive I have had its a nice reacting turbo so far. I have to turn my COMP off or I will spin too much in this weather. Just the DDIII's spools it up kinda nicely. I did find a stretch of slightly dry pavement and got it to spin upto 45psi. Theres a kink in my line because it goes to 33 or so then pops over to 40psi. Guess I'll need to make use of my 60lb gauge sitting here.

So far B1 is working like I anticipated. I love the bottom end of it.

Hey kat, how about the sound, dont these B1's sound cool. Just wait till it dries out. you will love it even more. Oh yeah, you're gonna need that 60 psi gauge;)

It must be something about these B1 turbos. It rained the day i put mine in. Had to wait a while to see what she could do. Since the B1 moves so much air it must throw off the weather patterns:eek:

Well with it snowing I kept the windows up... for now... . well ok maybe I cracked them a lil bit :) So far I like it. Need a bit warmer day so I can listen more closely... .....

Just wish I could go turn on level 5 and floor it... ... ...

With just the injectors and the comp off I can spin it to 30psi.

So I go take a nap before work... . and what happens? It snows even more!

Dang it... ... . oh well...come on sunshine!

Ahh! A foot of snow shouldn't slow you down any kat. Joking! I hate this white stuff this time of year. I have tomorrow off but won't get much outside work done. At least we're only getting about half what you guys are. ;)

Kat----just put it 4 HI and romp away---get out by Valley--really Kings Lake, nice flat, straight road for 5-7 miles ---no cops and blast away---chris

Thats what I did ;)

The snow is starting to melt..... slowly! Hopefully the highway is clear and I can play a lil on the way to work.

Price

Is there any modifying to the exhaust?

The exhaust I have tapers to the 3" stock outlet now woould that need changed?

All I have is the stock turbo! :(

What is the durability?

Could I still tow with it?

I'm not sure of the most current price, I know one piece of the turbo went up a considerable amount recently, have to ask Kurt how much they are now.

Yes you have to modify the exhaust. The turbo has a 4. 5" outlet, so since you got 5" you will need a clamp, a 4. 5" to 5" flange/adapter.

Durabilty? Too early to tell on mine haven't had a chance to abuse it daily yet.

Towing? No idea... ... never towed anything with my truck.

Well had a chance to play around a lil bit on the highway. So far max boost is around 45psi according to my gauge. Its got a kink in it so it might be wrong, have to change the line.

Egt's are down... BUT its winter out... . so I can't say I am out of the woods. PE COMP on 5x5... ... I saw the egt goto 1350 to 1400° whereas before I could peg the gauge (1600°) if I wanted to. So I consider this a major improvement. Spools up rather nicely..... topend is nice... . with the COMP off and floored I saw boost spin over to 40psi but again there is a kink in my line.

I need to address the fuel system a bit better now... and try out some bigger injectors sitting here.
