Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) B1 turbo MFG Problem

I have been waiting has well as many of the other members of the TDR for my new Turbo from Piers for more that a month. Piers tell me last week turbo has been drop shiped by MGF to my repair shop and shold be in be next weeks end or today 10/01/04. Call Piers at 16:00 hrs today and I find out from Piers that they paid the MFG last week for the turbo's but the MFG has not shiped a single turbo yet and may not untill late some time next week. I for one am sick and tired of this kind of treatment form the MFG's of performance parts for our trucks. First I wait 7 weeks for studs from APX now this bull-S. I would like to buy parts that take less than a life time to get. I have been with out my truck since the 4 th of JULY. If any one has a turbo that can equal the b1 series with a wastgate set for 50 psi please let me know.

Sorry to hear you having trouble with getting your turbo delivered.

As far as Logan Hill goes I could write pages on how many times Piers has bent over backwards to help me. He is one of the most honest people I have ever met in or out of the diesel world. He will do right by you

I feel that Piers and crew are fine people. Piers is a great example of how a business should be run, and proves that a business can prosper without resorting to the "dog eat dog" cut-throat practices.

Haha I had the same experience this week. Called Ken and he said my turbo was sitting there because Piers had not sent them my address. What a co-inkadink. Something tells me there's $$ involved Oh well I missed the big dyno day last weekend but I'll wait another week. If it don't show this week then I may have a different opinion.

This seems to have gotten way off topic. Seems like ecpeters hasn't gotten his turbo yet and is upset. Not a problem with that. Personal slams against the vendor violate the guidelines below:

1) Removed the posts that are in violation.

2) Removed the references to thost posts.

3) By doing the above the intent of the posts are nor changed and the post is on track.

4) An original of the thread has been saved. If anyone has a great difference with these actions, please contact me.
