I found a station by me that sells b11 @3. 26/gal. Wana switch but not sure if its a good idea since my injectors are knocking and dont know how bio will effect my truck? Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Bio has a higher cetane rating and it lubricates better that #2. Probably won't hurt.

I'm now running B100 in my 02.

Shoudl smooth it out if anything. B11 is fine. I'm running B20 now 'cause it's getting cooler. I was running B40 for a little while.

My truck has not seen #2 in 3 months. Only thing to really watch is the fuel filter but since your truck is new there should be no problem. Bio will definitely clean the fuel system. My truck runs better on bio and sometimes sounds like a 12v, much smoother, feels like more pep and actually gained 1mpg. Bio has twice the lubrication of #2 so I don't see why it would be a problem with the HPCR.

Does bio gell when it gets cold out, if it does would it help to use a anti-gel such as ps, or sea foam.

I'm not 100% sure on b100, but you can mix sea foam with bio/petro mix. I just don't know how well b100 and sea foam will work. I will do a test with that mix tomorrow to see. IMHO I think sea foam is one of the best products. Also check Artic Fox, I belive that is the name of the company. But they sell an anti-gel additive just for bio.

B100 has a cloud point of 45 degrees I think so any lower than that and it will get funky. I will go to B20 when it gets below that.

Goin on a 550 mile trip this weekend and gonna dump about 4 cans of seafoam in a 1/4 tank. Run it hard on the highway until the fuel light comes on, then fill up with another 4 cans and top off. Hopefully it will clean up the injectors and quit knockin so bad.

Ok, I put a sample of my bio in a small fridge with a thermometer in the fuel. At about 40* or so the fuel was starting to get a little thicker and cloud. At 45*-50* the fuel was clear and thin. I'm gonna try artic fox mixed with it.

I went to the Artic fox webpage and didn't see an additive listed. Just electric fuel heaters. Did I miss it?

B100 survived down to 37 degrees with no problems. Last two nights the temp was around 35 to 40 and so far no problems with the b100. I did have the block plugged in not sure if that made a difference or not.

that Artic fox heater you speak of work's like a dream. i use to work there for a little while and I installed one on my ferd L9000 and it works great. not sure if they make one to fit in our tanks but if they did i would buy one.
