Well the first B5 pump open to the public in New Jersey has be running for about 4 months now that I know of, it is at Woolley Fuel Company in Maplewood New Jersey about a 35 minute ride from where I live. I have been going there since December 13. So far I have gotten about 130 Gallons of it so far. Not much of a noticeable difference because of it being 5% bleed but helps with lubing the engine at least and quited the engine a little. Talked to one of the guys there and asked him if they where going to go with a higher blend. He said that they might go to B20 when the weather gets warmer and when the town of Maplewood with there DPW and FD get there trucks maintenance done then they might do it because it all depends on them they are the biggest user they have right now so they go with who is giving them the most business for the Bio-Diesel. I just hoping for a higher blend and may be a pump being a lot closer to me.

Here what prices I have paid for it when I have gone:

12/13/08 $2. 84/gal X 27. 9 gallons = $79. 40 this includes 1 5-gallon back up can

12/27/08 $2. 84/gal X 35. 1 gal = $100. 00 this includes 2 5-gal back up can and any fill up after this include the 2 5-gal back up cans

01/17/09 $2. 74 X 36 gal = $98. 96

02/07/09 $2. 64 X 31 gal = $82. 00

There where a few times where I had to go to the local Hess to put if some ultra-low sulfur diesel until I was able to go to get B5 on thoughts days listed.

Also you have to pump it your self.

Do you know what oil they are using? Canola is the good stuff and I can tell a difference when I run it. Just by having five percent you are making your VP44 happy, bio has twice the lubrication of diesel. Be sure and watch your fuel filter bio will clean out all the gunk from your fuel system.

Hi SHobbs,

I heave to check with them about Canola. I would prefer to make my own down the line to go B100. I have to guys in my firehouse that work for a pizza/hamburger/catering place it is the one guys sister place and they do about 2 55 gallon drums of WVO. I have read up on how to build the processer and such and have plans just waiting a little while the forum I belong to there are working on a new appleseed design.

I had picked up one of the brochures at Woolley and they said that a B2 blend had around 66% better lubing. I dont know how true that is but it is amazing with just a B2. I changed the fuel filter after the first tank to make sure and I have a spare in the truck just in case something happens on the road. I will be changing the filter after the next fill up to see what it looks like.

Just found out today the Woolley Fuel is now closed on Saturdays From march to October. Well that kind of put a end to me running B5 in my truck. Saturday is the only day I have a chance of going there to get B5.

Update on Woolley Fuel in Maplewood, NJ. Woolley offering B10 and B20 blend Bio-Diesel besides B-5. I found out today when I went there to get some because I had a day off and they are closed on Saturdays until October. It is pump your self and pay inside in the there office. for the B5. If you want to get B10 or B20 you have to go into the office and tell them which blend you want and some one has to come out and change the pump to those blends and you pump away until your done. The prices as of today for the B5 is $2. 549 a gallon and for the B20 which I got is $2. 749. The smell of the exhaust is much better then running the Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel from the Hess in my town.

Thanks for the info... right around the corner!! I'm surprised Headshot Zod hasn't said anything. aka Cliff!!!

It is $2. 90 a gallon for B30 when I got it from them as of 8/27. Just to let you guys know.
